Hammer and Nail Productions is a media company specializing in short-form and feature-length documentary content. Founded in 2014 by award-winning filmmaker Gaspar González, Hammer and Nail has produced programming for such outlets as ESPN, the BBC, and TV One, and numerous cultural institutions. Our credits include the features A Long Way from Home: The Untold Story of Baseball’s Desegregation and Errol Flynn’s Ghost: Hollywood in Havana, the Grantland short doc Gay Talese’s Address Book, the ESPN 30 for 30 Short The Guerrilla Fighter, and Havana House, winner of the Audience Award at the 2017 Miami Film Festival. Our work has been recognized by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Telly Awards, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. We are based in Miami.
