Hammer and Nail Productions is a media company specializing in short-form and feature-length documentary content. Founded by award-winning filmmaker Gaspar González, Hammer and Nail has produced programming for ESPN, PBS, the BBC, TV One, and numerous cultural institutions and non-broadcast clients. Our many credits include the films The All-American Cuban Comet; A Long Way from Home: The Untold Story of Baseball’s Desegregation; Gay Talese’s Address Book; the ESPN 30 for 30 Short The Guerrilla Fighter; and Havana House, winner of the Audience Award at the 2017 Miami Film Festival. Our work has been recognized by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, the Telly Awards, and AFI Docs. We are based in Miami.
